SPM Vibrameter VIB-11 is precision handheld instrument for measuring the RMS value of vibration velocity in (mm/sec.). Used to detect out-of-balance, misalignment and other mechanical faults in rotating equipment. The instrument and the measuring technique are based on ISO recommendations for general assessment of machine condition by measuring vibration severity accepted and applied world-wide.

Vibration severity is a very efficient monitoring method for detecting such common machine faults as imbalance, misalignment, structural weakness, loose parts etc... The VIB-10 is a velocity RMS overall vibration meter which is simple to operate. Place sensor on the bearing cap of your rotating equipment and read the display. Compare your readings to the ISO severity chart for instant machinery evaluation. The majority of industrial machinery belongs to the vibration classes 2, 3, and 4.

Class 2: Medium size machines without special foundation
Class 3: Large machines on rigid foundations
Class 4: Large machines on soft foundations.
